How Does SPOTMEX Work?
SPOTMEX provides a market place for buyers and sellers of Silver and Gold Bullion and Silver and Gold coins. As a buyer,
you are able to filter where you buy from so that you can choose to only buy from local sellers or internationally. As a Seller, you can set where
you would like to sell your bullion and coins - either locally or in several countries.
Does SPOTMEX Sell Gold and Silver?
SPOTMEX does not buy or sell precious metal itself, however the founders of this site are gold and silver investors and may from time to time buy or sell items via the SPOTMEX website.
What Does SPOTMEX Cost?
SPOTMEX charges 0.95% to the seller only on items sold through SPOTMEX.
Why are some Sellers ID Verified and some not?
While SPOTMEX does its best to verify all Seller accounts, SPOTMEX also gives Sellers the chance to verify their identity by asking them to send us a notarised copy of their identification. You should be more confident in dealing with ID Verified Sellers.
I would like to sell something, but you do not have that category available. How can I sell it?
You can suggest a category using the link provided on the left hand side menu.
How Secure is SPOTMEX?
All our payment processing and transaction accounting uses the latest in encrption technology. SPOTMEX is as secure as shopping on ebay or other large websites.
How does SPOTMEX handle disputes?
While SPOTMEX does its best to handle disputes amicably, if a dispute cannot be resolved, SPOTMEX reserves the right to release the contact details of the disputing parties to each other for resolution outside of SPOTMEX.
What can I do if I am sold something I wasn't expecting, such as a damaged coin?

Can I use SPOTMEX in my country?
SPOTMEX is currently operating in the countries you see when signing up. If your country is not registered with SPOTMEX, please contact us and we'll consider adding it.
Do you report my purchases to any authorities or tax agents?
SPOTMEX does not report any transactions unless that transaction is subject to a criminal proceeding where SPOTMEX, by law, must report the relevant records.
